Similar to the fit-up bed, this fit-up roll is deployed for joining of pipe with longer length such as in wind tower application, it has four independent fit-up rolls that perform the fit-up process, and is used jointly with standard conventional powered and idler rotator. It is not uncommon for fit-up roll to handle up to 300 tons tower.
